How ordering works

We bake three days a week, to order

Fresh batches every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Choose your day, then pick it up in East Falmouth or have it delivered.

The weekly rhythm

  1. Any time

    Order online

Choose your loaves, flavors and bake day. Limited flavors go to our email list first.

  2. 6pm the day before

    Dough goes in

Your dough is mixed and ferments for 24 hours. Order by 6pm the day before your bake day.

  3. Wed · Thu · Fri

    Bake days

Shaped, scored and baked. Pickup opens and deliveries head out the same day.

  4. Always in stock

    Granola ships

Granola keeps for 4 months, so it’s always ready and ships anywhere in the U.S.

Questions we get a lot

My bake day is full. Can I still get a loaf?

Orders close at 6pm the day before each bake. If your day is full or you missed it, pick the next one. We bake Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, so there’s usually another batch a day later.

Why don’t you ship bread?

Sourdough is at its best within a day or two of baking, and we use no preservatives. Days in a box would undo the 24 hours we spent on it.

How long does a loaf keep? Can I freeze it?

2–3 days on the counter, cut side down or in a paper or cloth bag. For longer, slice and freeze, then toast straight from the freezer.

How long does granola keep?

Up to 4 months in the sealed bag. We ship it anywhere in the U.S.

What allergens are in your products?

All bread contains wheat (gluten). Some flavors contain milk. Both granolas contain tree nuts, and the classic also has coconut and honey. If you have an allergy, email us before ordering and we’ll walk you through each recipe.

Can I order for an event or set up a weekly order?

Yes. Email info@thebread.us with the date and how many loaves, and we’ll work it out.

Something wasn’t right with my order.

Tell us as soon as you can and we’ll make it right with a replacement or a refund. See our refund policy.
